Hi, I’m Tania.

I am a Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates instructor and a certified group exercise instructor who started teaching in 2005. I have a special interest in using the Pilates Method to help people attain better body awareness, alleviate chronic pain, develop their powerhouse and just feel healthier.

My Approach

I have always had a passion for movement and fitness. After working in the outdoor education industry for a few years, I decided to move into the fitness industry and got certified in group exercise instructing. I taught cardio, spinning, step, stretching and outdoor boot-camp style classes. I tried to understand why people had so many different postural issues and that’s what led to an interest in the Pilates Method. The discovery of Pilates changed my approach to fitness because it involved a mind body connection and a deeper connection to the muscles that support our structure.

I am excited to work with people from all walks of life but am particularly interested in assisting people who are motivated and driven to progress toward more active outdoor sports and recreation pursuits such as trail running, rock climbing and bushwalking.
